6 Small Business Tools I Can’t Live Without

Running a small business is a thrilling and rewarding adventure, but as any small business owner will tell you, it also comes with its fair share of challenges. As an entrepreneur with multiple businesses, I’ve learned the importance of finding products and platforms that are SIMPLE and user-friendly so I can focus my time on delivering an enjoyable customer experience with each one of my products.

Over time, I’ve discovered six indispensable products that have become the backbone of my small businesses. These tools have not only simplified my daily operations but have also contributed significantly to the growth and success of my businesses.

We all know the importance of having an online presence no matter what product you are selling but building a website can be VERY costly and time consuming. 2. Shopify: My Favorite E-commerce Platform

When it comes to e-commerce, Shopify stands as an unrivaled champion in my opinion. I’ve been selling my products on Shopify since 2018 and this this platform has made the online shopping experience store enjoyable for both myself and my customers.

3. FloDesk: My Favorite Newsletter Platform

Do you ever wonder how people create and send those beautiful email newsletters? I did too! I have tried multiple email marketing software platforms including MailChimp, Klayvio, and FloDesk and FloDesk is by far my favorite. The templates are beautiful and align perfectly with my branding and they are very easy to edit to fit my needs. 

4. Rollo Printer: Effortless Printing and Labeling

Once you start shipping out a decent amount of products a good label printer is a MUST! I adore my Rollo printer. I use it daily and I love that I don’t have to deal with ink cartridges, smearing, and messy printing.

5. Uline Packaging: My Packaging Go-To

I like my products to have a safe journey to the hands of my customers and when it comes to packaging Uline Packaging has been my go-to source for packaging materials. They ship quickly when I order and have LOTS of different sizing options for my various products.

6. Canva: Unlimited Creations

As a small business owner, having an eye-catching brand presence across various platforms is essential for standing out. You also don’t realize how many marketing materials are involved until you run a small business. I use Canva almost every day for product mock ups, business cards, marketing materials, graphics, social media content, and the list goes on. It’s easy to use and the library of templates have made designing super easy. With Canva, I can effortlessly bring my brand’s vision to life and maintain a cohesive and professional image across all platforms.
